The part-turn and rotary actuators of the AN40 series are suitable for a wide range of applications due to their flexibility. The actuators have proven themselves for years in a wide variety of industries, such as mechanical engineering, the automotive, steel or glass industries. As a common application, the part-turn actuators are used as an actuator for butterfly valves or shut-off valves.
The part-turn actuators are available in several supply voltages (24 / 115 / 230 / 400 VAC, 12 / 24 VDC). They are characterised in their durability by their lifetime lubrication and their short-circuit-proof synchronous motor (supply voltage AC). As a universal, compact industrial version, the robust actuators comply with protection class IP65. For higher requirements, the part-turn actuators are approved for protection class IP66 by some modifications.
Finely adjustable adjustment cams allow exact limitation of the desired travel.
In the standard version, this can be set between 10° and 320°. The maximum adjustable travel of the AN40 series rotary actuators is 250 revolutions (optional). To meet your requirements as ideally as possible, the actuators of the AN40 series cover a wide range of travel times.
In addition to the standard shaft versions, we also supply special shafts according to your specifications. Deviating mounting holes are also possible on request.
A wide range of options such as additional switches, potentiometers, position indicators and positioners allow the actuators to be manufactured exactly to your requirements.
Various mounting parts and accessories underline the flexibility of the part-turn actuators.
